Overdose symptoms and what to do in case of valium overdose (call 911)

Overdose symptoms and what to do in case of valium overdose (call 911). People purchase valium online and accidentally or intentionally overdose on valium (also known as diazepam) all too often. In fact, it is estimated that over 890,000 people in the US visit the ER for benzo overdoses each year. Of course, many more may not get medical attention and needlessly suffer from the effects of valium overdose.

If you suspect you or someone else has overdosed on valium, it’s important to know what to look out for and what to do. The information below can be very helpful if you need to act quickly in an overdosing situation. It might even save a life!

Signs of valium overdose include:

Valium overdose symptoms include:

  • Low blood pressure.
  • Respiratory depression.
  • Seizures.
  • Coma. In severe cases, coma may lead to death.

Low blood pressure

Here are some symptoms of low blood pressure. It is important to note that it may not be an overdose if the victim has these symptoms, but if you suspect that their condition is due to a drug (especially valium) or alcohol overdose then call 911 immediately.

If they do have an accident because of their low blood pressure, they could have broken bones and internal injuries which would require hospitalization.

  • Fainting, dizziness and confusion
  • Cold clammy skin

Respiratory depression

  • Breathing is slower and shallower.
  • The victim may stop breathing.
  • The victim’s skin, lips, and fingernails may turn blue due to a lack of oxygen in the body.
  • The victim may become unconscious or lose consciousness completely.
  • If you see these symptoms, call 911 immediately and follow their instructions for what to do before help arrives (see below).

Seizures

Seizures are the most common symptom of overdose on benzodiazepines, including Valium. A seizure is a sudden and uncontrollable movement or convulsion that can last several minutes or hours. The person experiencing a seizure might have abnormal movements in their arms and legs, as well as spasms throughout their body. In some cases, a seizure may cause loss of consciousness; if this occurs, it’s important to seek medical attention immediately.

If you witness someone having a seizure:

  • Make sure they’re lying flat on their back with no objects nearby that could injure them during the seizure (such as furniture). If possible, loosen any tight clothing near the neck so you don’t have to cut off circulation by loosening it yourself later when the paramedics arrive
  • Try not to move them unless they’re at risk for hitting something dangerous during the seizure (like hitting their head on hard flooring). Instead try talking calmly while waiting for help
  • Don’t attempt CPR unless instructed by first responders because performing chest compressions puts pressure on major blood vessels leading into your heart which could lead to internal bleeding instead

Coma

Coma is a state of unconsciousness, which is different from sleep. Coma can be caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain, or severe brain injury. It can also result from several other medical conditions and injuries, such as low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), poisoning or alcohol intoxication.

Coma may last for a short time or persist for months at a time—it depends on what caused it in the first place and how quickly treatment was received by the patient.

Death

If you suspect someone has overdosed on Valium, call 911 immediately.

If the victim stops breathing, start CPR and keep going until help arrives. If the victim is vomiting or having seizures, stay with them until help comes.

If the victim is unconscious and stops breathing, call 911 immediately. Next, if you can safely do so, try to clear the victim’s airway by shaking him/her. If you cannot safely shake the person, then tilt their head back gently (while still supporting the head) to open their airway. In all cases of overdose, even if the victim seems unharmed, seek medical help immediately!

What this section does: Concludes the blog post

Outline of the post:

Section: It’s important to set goals for your financial situation that are within reach and realistic for you

Section: Think about ways to make changes in your budget that will help keep yourself from getting into debt again in future months or years

Section: Look at all of your debts as a whole instead of individual entities; this will make tackling them much easier! Take time now while things aren’t as stressful so they don’t pile up when something unexpected happens down road like illness or job loss because those can quickly lead back into debt territory! You want control over everything possible with regard towards finances before anything negative hits hard enough that it affects everything else too much already (e.g., family relationships).

Make sure there’s no unnecessary spending happening anywhere–this could mean cutting out cable services like Netflix but it’ll be worth having peace knowing at least one area isn’t contributing more towards any unnecessary expenses each month!”
